Thomas Rhett’s Concert Helps Rising Star Conner Smith Get Over Ex-Girlfriend

  • by

Conner Smith has recently released his first album titled "Smoky Mountains". One of his songs from the album, called "Creek Will Rise", is rapidly gaining popularity and climbing the charts in the country music genre.

Not too much time has passed since the emerging talent was an ordinary 16-year-old, attending a live performance by one of his beloved country music artists.

During the most recent episode of Taste of Country Nights, available On Demand, Smith shares a personal experience about going to a Thomas Rhett concert in 2016 that had a significant influence on him.

At the age of 16, I had the opportunity to go on a date with a girl to see Thomas Rhett perform live. The concert took place at Ascend Amphitheater, and we had seats in the lawn area. During the show, Thomas Rhett played his popular song "Die a Happy Man," and I decided to try and slow dance with the girl I was with, wanting to create a sweet and romantic moment.

Smith states that the following day, his girlfriend ended their relationship.

After sharing a moment of laughter, he proceeds to narrate the rest of the story. He mentions that about four years later, he was on a tour with Rhett. He humorously states that at that point, he realized that he had gotten the final victory in the situation.

Smith has shared this story with the audience during his performances multiple times, and it has become a popular choice among listeners.

Let's discuss the ultimate revenge and satisfaction in a romantic separation.
