Conner Smith has recently released his first album, titled Smoky Mountains, which is now available. One of the songs from the album, called "Creek Will Rise," is rapidly gaining popularity and climbing the ranks on the country music charts.
Not too distant in the past, the up-and-coming celebrity was simply an average sixteen-year-old, attending a concert of one of his beloved country music artists.
During the most recent episode of Taste of Country Nights, available On Demand, Smith shares a personal experience of attending a Thomas Rhett concert in 2016 that left a significant impression on him.
At the age of 16, I had the opportunity to go on a date with a girl to a Thomas Rhett concert. The concert took place at Ascend Amphitheater and we were seated on the lawn. During the show, Thomas Rhett performed "Die a Happy Man" and I tried to have a slow dance moment with my date, wanting to create a sweet and romantic atmosphere.
Smith explains that the following day, his partner ended their relationship.
After sharing a moment of laughter, he proceeds to narrate the rest of the story. He mentions that about four years later, he was on tour with Rhett and had a realization that made him feel triumphant. He expresses this by saying, "I suppose I was the one who ended up having the final laugh in that situation, if you catch my drift."
Smith has shared this story on stage multiple times, and it is well-received by the audience.
Let's discuss the ultimate satisfaction and justice that can be achieved in a breakup situation.
