Conner Smith has released his first album called "Smoky Mountains" and it is currently available. One of the songs from the album, titled "Creek Will Rise", is gaining popularity and climbing up the country music charts.
Not too long ago, the up-and-coming celebrity was simply a typical sixteen-year-old who attended a concert by one of his beloved country music artists.
During the most recent episode of Taste of Country Nights, available On Demand, Smith shares a personal anecdote about his experience attending a Thomas Rhett concert in 2016 that left a lasting impression on him.
At the age of 16, I went on a date with a girl to see Thomas Rhett perform. The concert took place at Ascend Amphitheater, and we sat in the lawn area. One of the songs he played was "Die a Happy Man," and while it was playing, I attempted to slow dance with her, wanting to be romantic.
The following day, Smith mentions that she ended our relationship.
After we have a good laugh, he proceeds to tell the rest of the story. He mentions that about four years later, he was on tour with Rhett and couldn't help but think, "I suppose I had the final victory in that situation," if you catch my drift."
Smith has recounted this anecdote multiple times during his performances, as it is well-received by the audience.
Let's discuss the satisfying feeling of getting back at someone and feeling justified after a breakup.
