Conner Smith has recently released his first album titled "Smoky Mountains" which is currently available. One of the songs from the album, "Creek Will Rise", is gaining popularity and climbing the country music charts.
However, not too far in the past, the aspiring young talent was an average 16-year-old who attended a concert by one of his most beloved country music artists.
During the most recent episode of Taste of Country Nights, available on demand, Smith shares a personal anecdote about his experience at a Thomas Rhett concert in 2016, which had a significant effect on him.
At the age of 16, I had a date with a girl to attend a Thomas Rhett concert. The venue was Ascend Amphitheater, and we were sitting on the lawn area. During the show, Thomas Rhett performed his song "Die a Happy Man," and at that moment, we attempted to slow dance together, aiming to create a romantic atmosphere.
Smith goes on to say that the following day, his girlfriend ended their relationship.
After a moment of laughter, he proceeds to recount the rest of the story. "About four years later, I found myself on tour with Rhett. It was at that point when I realized that I had the final victory in that situation," he remembers.
Smith has shared this story on multiple occasions during his performances, and it is highly appreciated by the audience.
Let's discuss how satisfying it can be to seek revenge and prove oneself right after a breakup.
