During the concert, Thomas Rhett performed his popular song "Die a Happy Man." At that moment, I was attempting to slow dance with the girl I was with, aiming to create a sweet and romantic atmosphere.

Smith goes on to say that the following day, his partner ended their relationship.

After sharing a moment of laughter, he proceeds to narrate the rest of the story. He mentions that about four years later, he was on tour with Rhett when he realized that he had ultimately come out on top in the situation.
