Conner Smith has recently released his first album called Smoky Mountains. One of the songs from the album, titled "Creek Will Rise", is gaining popularity and climbing up the country music charts.

Not too far in the past, the up-and-coming celebrity was simply an average teenager of 16 years, attending a concert of one of his beloved country music performers.

During the most recent episode of Taste of Country Nights, available for streaming, Smith shares a personal anecdote about his experience at a Thomas Rhett concert in 2016 which left a lasting impression on him.

At the age of 16, I had the opportunity to go on a date with a girl to see a Thomas Rhett concert. The venue was Ascend Amphitheater, and we were seated on the lawn area. During the show, Thomas Rhett performed his popular song "Die a Happy Man," and at that moment, I attempted to slow dance with the girl, wanting to create a romantic and affectionate atmosphere.

Smith adds that the following day, his girlfriend ended their relationship.

After sharing a moment of laughter, he proceeds to tell the rest of the story. "About 4 years later, I found myself on tour with Rhett, and at that point, I realized that I had ultimately emerged triumphant," he reminisces.

Smith has shared this story on multiple occasions during his performances, and it has become a beloved choice among the audience.

Let's discuss the ultimate satisfaction and vindication that can be experienced during a breakup.
