  • by

Conner Smith, a new artist, has recently released his first album titled "Smoky Mountains". One of the songs from the album, called "Creek Will Rise", is quickly gaining popularity and climbing the country music charts.

However, not too far in the past, the up-and-coming talent was simply an average 16-year-old attending a concert by one of his beloved country music performers.

During the most recent episode of Taste of Country Nights, which can be accessed on demand, Smith shares a personal anecdote about his experience at a Thomas Rhett concert in 2016 that left a lasting impression on him.

At the age of 16, I had the opportunity to go on a date with a girl to see a Thomas Rhett concert. I vividly recall that the concert took place at Ascend Amphitheater, and we were seated in the lawn area. During the show, Thomas Rhett performed his popular song "Die a Happy Man," and at that moment, I attempted to slow dance with the girl I was with, aiming to create a tender and romantic atmosphere.

Smith went on to say that the following day, his girlfriend ended their relationship.

After sharing a funny moment, he proceeds to tell the rest of the story. "After about 4 years, I was on tour with Rhett. It was then that I realized that I had the final victory in that situation," he remembers.

Smith has shared this story with the audience during his performances, and it has become a popular choice among the listeners.

Let's discuss the satisfaction and validation one can feel after successfully seeking revenge during a breakup.
