At the age of 16, I had a memorable experience going on a date with a girl to a Thomas Rhett concert. The concert took place at Ascend Amphitheater, and we were sitting on the lawn area. During the show, Thomas Rhett performed "Die a Happy Man," and I attempted to slow dance with the girl, wanting to create a romantic atmosphere.

Smith further explains that the following day, his girlfriend ended their relationship.

After a moment of laughter, he proceeds with the story. He mentions that about four years later, he was on tour with Rhett when he realized that he had ultimately come out on top in the situation.
