Conner Smith has released his first album called "Smoky Mountains" which is currently available. One of the songs from the album, titled "Creek Will Rise," is quickly gaining popularity and climbing up the country music charts.
Not too long ago, the up-and-coming talent was an ordinary 16-year-old who attended a concert of one of his beloved country music artists.
During the most recent episode of Taste of Country Nights, available On Demand, Smith shares a personal experience about going to a Thomas Rhett concert in 2016 that left a significant impression on him.
At the age of 16, I went on a date with a girl to watch a Thomas Rhett concert. The venue was Ascend Amphitheater, and we had seats in the lawn area. During the show, Thomas Rhett performed his song "Die a Happy Man," and at that moment, I attempted to slow dance with the girl and be affectionate.
Smith goes on to say that the following day, his girlfriend ended their relationship.
We have a moment of laughter, and then he proceeds to tell the rest of the story. He mentions that about four years later, he was on tour with Rhett. He jokingly says, "I suppose I had the final laugh in that situation," indicating that he had ultimately come out on top.
Smith has shared this story with the audience during his performances on multiple occasions and it has become a popular choice among the viewers.
Let's discuss the ultimate form of revenge and validation that can be experienced during a breakup.
