There are 14 country music stars who should be given more recognition and admiration. While it seemed like Dwight Yoakam was the most disregarded singer in the genre, we came across the impressive accomplishments of another renowned country artist.

Yoakam's batting average at the CMA, ACM and Grammy Awards is quite low at .081, with only 3 hits out of 37 attempts. However, despite this, he has managed to secure three wins. In comparison, the Bellamy Brothers have not been as fortunate in their awards success.

This pair has an astonishing record of 0-29 at the three most important events in the country music industry. No other duo has received as many nominations in the duo category, yet they have never managed to win. David and Howard Bellamy have been so neglected that the Taste of Country team didn't even include them in their list of deserving artists not in the Country Music Hall of Fame.
