There are 14 country music stars who should be given more recognition. Despite Dwight Yoakam being considered one of the most disrespected singers in country music, we have now discovered another renowned country artist whose achievements deserve greater respect.

Yoakam has not had much success at the CMA, ACM, and Grammy Awards, with a low batting average of .081 (3-37). However, he has managed to secure three wins, which is more than what the Bellamy Brothers have achieved.

These two musicians have an astonishing record of 0-29 at the most important events in the country music industry. No other pair has received as many nominations in the duo category, yet they have never won. David and Howard Bellamy have been so consistently overlooked that the Taste of Country team did not even think to include them in their list of worthy artists not yet inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
