This week's list of new country releases (Jan. 20-26) includes four country albums and a collection of great songs from Tyler Hubbard, Charley Crockett, Morgan Wallen, and Glen Campbell.
Yes, it is true that there is a new project by Glen Campbell on the way. The first glimpse of this project is a collaboration between the renowned artist and Eric Church. Titled "The Ghost on the Canvas Sessions," it will be released on April 19 and will also include contributions from Dolly Parton, Eric Clapton, Carole King, and others. The latest album from the Josh Abbott Band was taken into consideration for our Song You Need to Hear feature, but in the end, another Texan artist with a unique and original sound was chosen for this week's honor. However, Somewhere Down the Road by Josh Abbott Band is definitely worth a listen, as it is the best among all the full-length albums released this week, with a duration of 36 minutes.
