The 2024 People's Choice Awards will take place in February. The upcoming show has introduced two new country categories to its extensive list of nominations.
Following a triumphant introduction of the People's Choice Country Awards expansion in 2023, the initial program has introduced two additional accolades: the Male Country Artist of the Year and the Female Country Artist of the Year. As a result, the overall number of categories for the show now stands at 45.
Previously, the previous editions of the show have showcased artists from different genres including pop, hip-hop, and R&B. Additionally, the PCAs have recently revealed their plans to acknowledge Male and Female Latin Artists in the year 2024.
The nominees for the Male Country Artist category are Chris Stapleton, Cody Johnson, Hardy, Jelly Roll, Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, and Zach Bryan. The Female Country Artist category includes Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce, Carrie Underwood, Gabby Barrett, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, Megan Moroney, and Shania Twain.
