The 2024 People's Choice Awards will take place in February. This time around, the awards show will feature two new country categories in addition to its already extensive list of nominations.
Following a triumphant introduction of the People’s Choice Country Awards expansion in 2023, the primary event has introduced two additional accolades: Male Country Artist of the Year and Female Country Artist of the Year. As a result, the total number of award categories for the show now stands at 45.
Previously, the show has showcased artists from different genres such as pop, hip-hop, and R&B. Additionally, the PCAs recently revealed plans to acknowledge Male and Female Latin Artists during their 2024 event.
The list of nominees for the Male Country Artist category includes Chris Stapleton, Cody Johnson, Hardy, Jelly Roll, Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, and Zach Bryan. The nominees for the Female Country Artist category are Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce, Carrie Underwood, Gabby Barrett, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, Megan Moroney, and Shania Twain.
Audiences have the opportunity to cast their votes online for their preferred artist leading up to the date of the event. The 2024 People's Choice Awards are set to take place on February 18th at 8PM ET, airing on NBC.
