The 2024 People's Choice Awards will take place in February. For this edition, the awards show has included two new country categories to their wide range of nominations.
Following the successful introduction of the People's Choice Country Awards expansion in 2023, the main show has introduced two additional accolades: the Male Country Artist of the Year and the Female Country Artist of the Year. As a result, the total number of categories for the show has now increased to 45.
Previously, the show has featured artists from different genres such as pop, hip-hop, and R&B. The PCAs have also revealed plans to acknowledge and honor Male and Female Latin Artists in 2024.
The list of nominees for the Male Country Artist category includes Chris Stapleton, Cody Johnson, Hardy, Jelly Roll, Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, and Zach Bryan. On the other hand, the Female Country Artist category features Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce, Carrie Underwood, Gabby Barrett, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, Megan Moroney, and Shania Twain.
Viewers have the opportunity to cast their votes online for the artist they admire the most until the day of the event. The 2024 People's Choice Awards will take place on February 18th at 8PM ET and will be broadcasted on NBC.
