The 2024 People's Choice Awards will take place in February. For this year's show, two new country categories have been included in the long list of nominations.
Following a highly successful launch of the expansion for the People's Choice Country Awards in 2023, the show has introduced two additional awards: the Male Country Artist of the Year and the Female Country Artist of the Year. As a result, the total number of categories for the show now stands at 45.
Previously, the show has given prominence to artists from different genres such as pop, hip-hop, and R&B. Additionally, the PCAs revealed their plans to acknowledge Male and Female Latin Artists in 2024.
The Male Country Artist nominees for the first time consist of Chris Stapleton, Cody Johnson, Hardy, Jelly Roll, Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, and Zach Bryan. The nominees for Female Country Artist include Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce, Carrie Underwood, Gabby Barrett, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, Megan Moroney, and Shania Twain.
Audiences have the opportunity to cast their votes for their preferred artist through an online platform until the day of the event. The 2024 People's Choice Awards are set to take place on February 18th at 8PM Eastern Time on NBC.
