Yoakam has a very low batting average of .081 (3 hits out of 37 attempts) at the CMA, ACM, and Grammy Awards. However, despite this low average, he has managed to win three times. The Bellamy Brothers would be fortunate to achieve similar success.
David and Howard Bellamy have an astounding record of 0-29 at the three biggest country music awards shows. Despite being nominated more times than any other country duo, they have never won. The Bellamy Brothers are so consistently overlooked that they weren't even considered for a list of deserving artists not yet in the Country Music Hall of Fame by the Taste of Country team.
