Yoakam's batting average at the CMA, ACM, and Grammy Awards is only .081, with a record of 3 wins out of 37 attempts. In comparison, the Bellamy Brothers would wish for such luck!
This pair has an astonishing record of 0-29 at the three major shows, which means they have been nominated numerous times in the duo category but have never won. David and Howard Bellamy have received more nominations than any other country duo in history but have constantly been overlooked. Their lack of recognition is so significant that the Taste of Country team didn't even include them in their list of deserving artists who are not in the Country Music Hall of Fame.
