There are 14 country stars who are not receiving the recognition they deserve. Initially, Dwight Yoakam seemed to be the most disrespected singer in country music. However, we recently discovered the impressive accomplishments of another legendary country artist.
Yoakam's performance record at the CMA, ACM, and Grammy Awards is quite low, with a batting average of only .081 (3-37). However, despite this, he has managed to secure three wins. In comparison, the Bellamy Brothers have not been as fortunate.
This pair of musicians has an astonishing record of 0-29 at the three most important country music awards shows. They have received more nominations in the duo category than any other country pair, yet they have never won. David and Howard Bellamy have been so consistently ignored that the Taste of Country team didn't even think of including them in a list of deserving artists who are not in the Country Music Hall of Fame.
