Yoakam has a very low batting average of .081 (3-37) at the CMA, ACM, and Grammy Awards, but surprisingly, he has managed to win three times. The Bellamy Brothers would be fortunate to achieve such success.
David and Howard Bellamy have an astonishing record of 0-29 at the three major shows. It is noteworthy that no other country duo has received more nominations in the duo category, yet they have never managed to win. The Bellamy brothers have been so consistently overlooked that they were not even taken into consideration when the Taste of Country team compiled a list of deserving artists who are not yet part of the Country Music Hall of Fame.

It appeared to be obvious and easy to understand that they would have arrived by now.
