Yoakam's batting average at the CMA, ACM, and Grammy Awards is quite low at .081 (3-37), but surprisingly he has managed to win three times. The Bellamy Brothers would be envious of his success.
This pair has an incredible record of 0-29 at the three biggest award shows in country music. No other duo has received more nominations in the duo category, yet they have never managed to win. David and Howard Bellamy have been so overlooked that the Taste of Country team didn't even include them in their list of deserving artists who are not in the Country Music Hall of Fame.
