Sound Radix offers Auto-Align 2.1.
Sound Radix has recently released Auto-Align 2.1, an innovative tool designed to enhance the audio production process by offering improved precision and productivity.
Auto-Align 2.1 enhances the sound quality captured by microphones by removing comb-filtering, reducing the blurring of transients, and optimizing the phase of each microphone. The latest version improves the alignment process by speeding it up, introducing a new module for correcting spectral phase, implementing a refined algorithm, and offering a more user-friendly interface.
The updated version of Auto-Align aims to simplify your work process. By simply clicking a button, Auto-Align 2.1 can align all of your microphones at once. This innovative feature saves you precious time and guarantees that your audio is accurately aligned in terms of timing and phase, resulting in enhanced clarity, dimension, and stereo effect.
The Spectral Phase Optimization feature in Auto-Align 2.1 fixes any phase shifts that may occur within certain frequency ranges, which improves the overall quality and clarity of the audio signal. When filters are used during recording, different frequency bands can have different phase shifts, causing the sound to become distorted and unclear. By automatically detecting and correcting these phase shifts, Spectral Phase Optimization ensures that your audio is perfectly aligned and sounds its best.
The updated edition of the software also features an enhanced central algorithm, the option to enable or disable group time alignment, the optimization of spectral phase on a track basis, four preset locations for convenient comparison of various configurations, and the capability to export/import alignment settings to make the workflow more efficient across different projects.
Auto-Align 2.1 has received positive feedback from experts in the industry. Greg Wurth, an accomplished producer, mixer, and engineer, describes the impact of Auto-Align 2 on drums, bass, or guitar as extraordinary. Similarly, Darrell Thorp, a 10-time GRAMMY-winning engineer, includes Auto-Align 2 in his drum plug-in chain for every new mix or song he begins.
You can now purchase Auto-Align 2.1 for a price of $199. This software is compatible with macOS 10.9 or newer, as long as your device has a 64-bit Intel CPU or Apple Silicon. For Windows users, you will need a 64-bit Intel or AMD CPU and Windows 10 or a newer version. The plug-in formats supported are AAX, Audio Unit, VST3, and ARA2.
