Lainey Wilson's recent collaboration with the Black Crowes was a result of a completely natural occurrence. According to Chris Robinson, he happened to meet the country singer by coincidence and discovered that she was a fan of the band.
On the album "Happiness Bastards" by the Black Crowes, there is a song called "Wilted Rose." In an interview with Loudwire Nights, Robinson mentions that he had a chance encounter with Wilson on the red carpet of a country awards show. At the 2023 CMT Music Awards, the Black Crowes performed "She Talks to Angels" alongside Darius Rucker.
Robinson remembers her as a very kind and affectionate person, who expressed her excitement by saying, "I can't believe it! I have been a fan of the Black Crowes since I was little."
During a break between interviews, there was a brief moment where the producer, Jay Joyce, asked her a question and she readily agreed to do it.
In addition to that, Joyce was responsible for producing Wilson's most recent two albums. "Wilted Rose" is significant because it is the first instance where the Black Crowes collaborated with a different vocalist for an album.

Wilson continues to solidify her status as one of the most versatile and influential female artists in the country music industry. During an interview, Robinson recollects his experience in Los Angeles after the completion of the main part of the record. He expresses his amazement upon hearing the work and acknowledges the immense talent of the individual in question. Robinson conveys his happiness for her success and predicts that she will continue to achieve great things, as she is already making significant strides in her career.
It is believed that Wilson is currently in the process of working on her upcoming album, however, there is no information available regarding the specifics or any songs that may have been recorded during these sessions. Her latest single, "Wildflowers and Wild Horses," can be found on the album Bell Bottom Country.
