Lainey Wilson's recent collaboration with the Black Crowes happened in a very natural way. Chris Robinson, a member of the Black Crowes, happened to meet Lainey Wilson by coincidence and discovered that she was a fan of their music.
On the Black Crowes' latest album titled "Happiness Bastards", there is a song called "Wilted Rose" that you should check out. In an interview with Loudwire Nights, Robinson mentioned that he had a chance encounter with Wilson on the red carpet during a country awards show. Additionally, at the 2023 CMT Music Awards, the Black Crowes teamed up with Darius Rucker to perform "She Talks to Angels".
Robinson fondly remembers her as a kind and affectionate person who expressed her enthusiasm, saying something along the lines of, "Wow, I can't believe it! I've been a fan of the Black Crowes since I was a child!"
During a break between interviews, there was a brief moment where Producer Jay Joyce asked her to do something, and she complied without hesitation.
Joyce was also responsible for producing Wilson's most recent two albums. The release of "Wilted Rose" signifies the first occasion where the Black Crowes have collaborated with a different vocalist for an album.

During an interview, Robinson reminisces about being in Los Angeles when they heard the song. They were amazed by the talent displayed by the artist and recognized that she was experiencing her moment of stardom. Robinson expresses their happiness for her success and believes that she will continue to achieve great things, as she is already making a significant impact.
It is believed that Wilson is currently working on her upcoming studio album, although no information or songs from these sessions have been made public yet. Her latest single is called "Wildflowers and Wild Horses" from the album Bell Bottom Country.
