Lainey Wilson's collaboration with the Black Crowes happened in a completely natural and unplanned way. Chris Robinson, the lead singer of the Black Crowes, happened to meet Lainey Wilson by coincidence and discovered that she was a fan of their music.
The Black Crowes' latest album, titled "Happiness Bastards," features a track called "Wilted Rose." In an interview with Loudwire Nights, Robinson, a member of the band, revealed that he had the opportunity to meet Wilson at a country awards event. Additionally, the Black Crowes collaborated with Darius Rucker for a live performance of their song "She Talks to Angels" at the 2023 CMT Music Awards.
Robinson remembers her as a very kind and affectionate person, who expressed her love for the Black Crowes by saying, "Wow, I can't believe it, I've been a fan since I was a child."
During a break between interviews, there was a brief pause where Producer Jay Joyce asked her to do something, and she willingly complied.
Joyce was also responsible for producing the last two albums of Wilson. The album titled "Wilted Rose" represents a significant milestone for the Black Crowes as it is the first time they have collaborated with a different vocalist on a project.

Wilson's collaboration with another artist adds to her already established status as one of the most versatile and influential female artists in the country music genre. Furthermore, Wilson showcased her acting abilities in the popular Western drama series, Yellowstone.
During an interview, Robinson mentions that he was in Los Angeles when he heard the song. At that time, the recording process of the album was almost complete. He was amazed by the song and thought it was incredible. He acknowledges the immense talent of the artist and acknowledges that she is currently experiencing a successful period in her career. He expresses his happiness for her and believes that she will continue to achieve great things as she is already doing so.
There is speculation that Wilson is currently in the process of creating her next album, however, there is no information available about the album's content or any songs that have been revealed from those recording sessions. "Wildflowers and Wild Horses" is her latest single from the album Bell Bottom Country.
