Lainey Wilson's recent collaboration with the Black Crowes happened in a very natural way. According to Chris Robinson, he happened to meet the country singer coincidentally and later discovered that she was a fan of their music.
On the Black Crowes' latest album, "Happiness Bastards," there is a song called "Wilted Rose." During an interview with Loudwire Nights, Robinson reveals that he encountered Wilson on the red carpet at a country awards ceremony. At the 2023 CMT Music Awards, the Black Crowes teamed up with Darius Rucker to perform "She Talks to Angels."
Robinson remembers her as a very kind and affectionate person who expressed her admiration for the Black Crowes by saying, "I can't believe it, I've been a fan since I was a child."
During a break between interviews, there was a brief moment where (Producer Jay Joyce) approached her and made a request, which she willingly carried out.
Joyce was also responsible for producing the last two albums by Wilson. "Wilted Rose" is the first instance where the Black Crowes have collaborated with a different vocalist for an album.

They were amazed and impressed, acknowledging the exceptional talent of the person in question. They express their happiness for her and predict that she will continue to achieve great things, as she is already on the path to success.
There are speculations that Wilson is currently working on her upcoming album. However, no information or songs from these recording sessions have been made public. Her latest single is called "Wildflowers and Wild Horses" and it is featured on the album Bell Bottom Country.
