Presently, you are in the year 2024 at the NAMM event. One of the highlights of this event is the introduction of Rad

Radial has recently launched the Nuance Select, a top-of-the-line studio monitor controller. This advanced audio device is designed to have minimal background noise and a pristine signal pathway, enabling seamless transitions between two audio sources and two sets of powered speakers.

The Nuance Select comes with a sizable master volume control, two headphone amplifiers built into it, and switches that light up. It has convenient chrome level controls for both the master output and the headphone output, making it easy to switch between two pairs of speakers. It also includes an aux output for connecting to external devices like headphone amplifiers.

The Nuance Select offers the option to activate a subwoofer output, which can be turned on or off when required. It also includes Mono, Mute, and Dim switches, providing additional control. The headphone outputs can be individually assigned to either of the stereo inputs, making it ideal for monitoring a specific mix during recording.

Radial's Catapult line of analogue audio over Cat 5 cable units, called the Catapult TX and Catapult RX, are gaining popularity. These new units are designed to be mounted in a single rack and can transmit and receive 12 channels of audio over Cat 5 cable. Essentially, they combine the functionality of three of Radial's Catapult 4-channel TX and RX boxes into one compact rack space unit.

Each device consists of 12 well-matched connections, including three Cat 5 output ports for audio transmission. The Catapult Rack TX unit contains 12 XLR female connectors that can be locked, as well as six RJ45 connectors that can be locked with EtherCON. On the other hand, the Catapult Rack RX unit is equipped with 12 XLR male outputs and the corresponding RJ45 connections.

The Radial Catapult modules are completely compatible with each other, including the ones with transformer isolation and the Catapult Mini 4-channel unit. Both of these modules have reversible rack ears, allowing them to be mounted with either XLR or Cat 5 connections easily accessible. The connections are securely locked in place with Neutrik EtherCON ruggedized connectors.

Radial has recently introduced new versions of its Power 1 and Power 2 power units, specifically designed to operate on the 220-240V power grid. This means that customers in countries such as the UK, Europe, Asia, Australia, and many others can now benefit from these power units that provide reliable power supply and surge suppression capabilities.

Both devices have the same level of surge suppression as Radial's 110V Power 1 and Power 2 units. Additionally, they are equipped with top-notch MOVs manufactured in the United States, providing better protection compared to other types of units.

The Power 1 device includes three outlets on the front panel and 10 outlets on the rear panel, specifically designed for powering equipment. The outlets on the front panel are always active, while the rear panel outlets can be used as needed. Additionally, there is a USB charging port located on the front panel, which is equipped with a protective circuit to ensure that connected

The Power 2 has a convenient LED tray that can slide out, allowing you to choose from various colors for the LED lights. This is especially useful when you need to view equipment in lower racks. It also comes with an always-on front panel outlet, as well as 10 rear panel IEC outlets divided into two banks of five. The front panel also includes a USB charging port for your convenience. Additionally, the Power 2 has a protection circuit in place to ensure that your connected devices are not damaged.
