Yoakam has a very low batting average of .081 (3 out of 37) at the CMA, ACM, and Grammy Awards, but surprisingly, he has managed to secure three wins. The Bellamy Brothers would be extremely fortunate to achieve the same level of success.
This pair has an astonishing record of 0-29 at the three biggest shows in the country music industry. No other duo has received as many nominations in the duo category, yet they have never emerged as winners. David and Howard Bellamy have been greatly overlooked to the extent that the Taste of Country team did not even include them in their list of deserving artists not in the Country Music Hall of Fame.
