Auto-Align 2.1: Enhancing Audio Production Efficiency and Sound Quality

  • by

This is your current location. Sound Radix has released a new version of Auto-Align called Auto-Align

Sound Radix has released Auto-Align 2.1, a cutting-edge audio alignment tool that promises to enhance the audio production process with improved precision and productivity.

Auto-Align 2.1 enhances the quality of audio recordings by getting rid of comb-filtering, reducing any blurring of transients, and improving the phase alignment of each microphone. The latest version improves the alignment process by making it faster, introducing a new module for spectral phase correction, refining the algorithm, and providing a more user-friendly interface.

Enhanced Efficiency

The latest edition of Auto-Align aims to optimize your workflow. With a simple click, Auto-Align 2.1 has the capability to align all your microphones at once. This revolutionary function saves you precious time and guarantees that your audio is accurately synchronized in both timing and phase, leading to enhanced clarity, dimension, and stereo representation.

The Spectral Phase Optimization feature in Auto-Align 2.1 helps fix phase shifts that may happen within certain frequency ranges. This leads to an audio signal that sounds more unified and enhanced. When using filters while recording, different frequency bands can have different phase shifts, which can cause the sound to become distorted and unclear. Spectral Phase Optimization detects and fixes these phase shifts automatically, guaranteeing that your audio is aligned perfectly and sounds excellent.

The updated version of the software also comes with enhancements to its core algorithm, the option to enable or disable group time alignment, the ability to optimize spectral phase on a track basis, four preset locations for conveniently comparing different settings, as well as the capability to export and import alignment settings for a more efficient workflow across various projects.

Auto-Align 2.1 has received positive feedback from experts in the industry. Greg Wurth, a highly acclaimed producer, mixer, and engineer with multiple platinum awards, expresses his astonishment at the incredible results Auto-Align 2 achieves on drums, bass, or guitar. Similarly, Darrell Thorp, a distinguished engineer who has won the GRAMMY award 10 times, includes Auto-Align 2 in his drum plug-in chain for every new mix or song he works on.

You can now purchase Auto-Align 2.1 for $199. It works with macOS 10.9 or later, and requires a 64-bit Intel CPU or Apple Silicon. For Windows, it is compatible with a 64-bit Intel or AMD CPU and Windows 10 or later. The plug-in formats supported are AAX, Audio Unit, VST3, and ARA2.
