The software called Auto-Align 2.1 is developed by Sound Radix
Sound Radix has recently released Auto-Align 2.1, a cutting-edge audio alignment tool that promises to enhance the audio production process with improved precision and productivity.
Auto-Align 2.1 improves audio quality by reducing comb-filtering, minimizing the blurring of sound, and enhancing the phase of each microphone to ensure a clear and precise sound reproduction. This updated version further enhances the alignment process by speeding it up, introducing a new module for spectral phase correction, using an improved algorithm, and providing a user-friendly interface.
The updated Auto-Align software aims to make your work process more efficient. By simply clicking a button, Auto-Align 2.1 can align all your microphones in one go. This innovative feature not only saves you time but also guarantees precise synchronization and phase alignment of your audio, leading to enhanced clarity, dimension, and stereo representation.
The Spectral Phase Optimization feature in Auto-Align 2.1 fixes phase shifts that may occur in certain frequency ranges, leading to a more cohesive and enhanced audio signal. While using filters during recording, different frequency bands can undergo different phase shifts, which can cause a distorted and unclear sound. Spectral Phase Optimization identifies and corrects these phase shifts automatically, guaranteeing that your audio is accurately aligned and sounding at its finest.
The updated version of the software has an enhanced core algorithm, the option to turn on or off group time alignment, improved optimization of spectral phase on a track basis, four preset locations for convenient comparison of various configurations, and the capability to export and import alignment settings to make the workflow more efficient across different projects.
Industry professionals have already given high praise to Auto-Align 2.1. Greg Wurth, an acclaimed producer, mixer, and engineer who has received multiple platinum awards, describes Auto-Align 2 as remarkable for its ability to align drums, bass, and guitar. Darrell Thorp, a 10-time GRAMMY-winning engineer, also highly recommends Auto-Align 2 and includes it in his drum plug-in chain for every new mix or song he works on.
The latest version of Auto-Align, which is version 2.1, can be purchased for $199. It can be used on macOS 10.9 or newer, as long as you have a 64-bit Intel CPU or Apple Silicon. For Windows users, a 64-bit Intel or AMD CPU is required, along with Windows 10 or a newer version. Auto-Align 2.1 is available in various plug-in formats, including AAX, Audio Unit, VST3, and ARA2.
