The software called Auto-Align 2.1 is developed by Sound Radix
Sound Radix has released Auto-Align 2.1, a cutting-edge audio alignment tool that aims to enhance the audio production process by providing a higher level of precision and productivity.
Auto-Align 2.1 improves audio quality by reducing comb-filtering, minimizing blurring of sounds, and optimizing the frequency response of each microphone to capture the true and clear sound. This updated version further enhances the alignment process by speeding it up, introducing a new module to correct spectral phase, refining the algorithm, and providing a user-friendly interface.
The updated Auto-Align software aims to make your work process more efficient. With a simple click, Auto-Align 2.1 can align all your microphones at once. This innovative feature saves you time and guarantees that your audio is accurately aligned in terms of timing and phase, leading to enhanced clarity, size, and stereo image.
The Spectral Phase Optimization feature in Auto-Align 2.1 addresses the issue of phase shifts that can occur within certain frequency ranges. These phase shifts can negatively affect the clarity and richness of the audio signal. When recording with filters, different frequency bands may experience different phase shifts, resulting in a distorted and unclear sound. Spectral Phase Optimization detects and fixes these phase shifts automatically, ensuring that your audio is aligned and sounds its best.
The updated version of the software also comes with enhanced core algorithm, the option to enable or disable group time alignment, improved optimization of spectral phase on individual tracks, four preset locations for convenient comparison of various settings, and the capability to export/import alignment settings to make the workflow smoother when working on multiple projects.
Industry professionals have already given high acclaim to Auto-Align 2.1. Greg Wurth, a producer/mixer/engineer with multiple platinum awards, expresses his amazement at the capabilities of Auto-Align 2 on drums, bass, or guitar. Similarly, Darrell Thorp, a 10-time GRAMMY-winning engineer, includes Auto-Align 2 in his drum plug-in chain for every new mix or song he begins.
You can purchase Auto-Align 2.1 for $199. It can be used on macOS 10.9 or newer with a 64-bit Intel CPU or Apple Silicon, and on Windows with a 64-bit Intel or AMD CPU and Windows 10 or newer. The plug-in formats available are AAX, Audio Unit, VST3, and ARA2.
