Sound Radix has recently released Auto-Align 2.1, an innovative tool for audio alignment that aims to enhance the audio production process by offering a higher level of precision and effectiveness.

Auto-Align 2.1 enhances the audio quality by eliminating the negative effects of comb-filtering and reducing the blurring of transients. It also improves the spectral phase of each microphone, resulting in a clearer and more precise sound reproduction. The latest version of the software not only improves the alignment process but also introduces a new module for spectral phase correction, an improved algorithm, and a user-friendly interface for a more seamless experience.

The updated Auto-Align software aims to make your work process more efficient. By simply clicking a button, Auto-Align 2.1 can align all of your microphones at once. This innovative feature not only saves you time but also guarantees that your audio is perfectly synchronized and harmonized, leading to enhanced clarity, dimension, and stereo effect.

The Spectral Phase Optimization feature of Auto-Align 2.1 is designed to fix phase shifts that may occur within certain frequency ranges. These phase shifts can cause the audio signal to sound less cohesive and less high-quality. When filters are used during recording, different frequency bands may experience different phase shifts, resulting in a distorted and unclear sound. With Spectral Phase Optimization, these phase shifts are automatically identified and corrected, ensuring that your audio is aligned perfectly and sounds its best.

The updated version of the software has an enhanced core algorithm, the option to enable or disable group time alignment, track-based spectral phase optimization, four preset locations for convenient comparison of different configurations, and the capability to export/import alignment settings to streamline the workflow across various projects.

Auto-Align 2.1 has received recognition from experts in the field. Greg Wurth, a highly successful producer, mixer, and engineer, is amazed by the capabilities of Auto-Align 2 on various instruments such as drums, bass, and guitar. Additionally, Darrell Thorp, a renowned engineer with 10 Grammy Awards, includes Auto-Align 2 in his drum plug-in chain for every new mix or song he works on.

You can now purchase Auto-Align 2.1 for $199. This software can be used on macOS 10.9 or newer, as long as your device has a 64-bit Intel CPU or Apple Silicon. For Windows users, you will need a 64-bit Intel or AMD CPU and Windows 10 or a newer version. Auto-Align 2.1 is available in various plug-in formats, including AAX, Audio Unit, VST3, and ARA2.
