This is your current location. Sound Radix has released Auto-Align 2.1.
Sound Radix has recently released Auto-Align 2.1, an innovative audio alignment tool that promises to enhance the audio production process with increased precision and effectiveness.
Auto-Align 2.1 improves the quality of sound captured by microphones by eliminating comb-filtering, reducing the blurring of sound transients, and optimizing the frequency response of each microphone. This latest version also enhances the alignment process by speeding it up, introducing a new module for correcting spectral phase, refining the algorithm, and providing a more user-friendly interface.
The updated version of Auto-Align is specifically created to make your workflow more efficient. With a simple click, Auto-Align 2.1 has the capability to align all of your microphones in one go. This innovative feature saves you precious time and guarantees that your audio is aligned perfectly in terms of timing and phase, leading to enhanced clarity, size, and stereo image.
The Spectral Phase Optimization feature in Auto-Align 2.1 helps to fix any phase shifts that may occur within certain frequency ranges. These phase shifts can cause the audio signal to sound disjointed and lacking in richness. When filters are applied during recording, different frequency bands can be affected by varying phase shifts, resulting in a distorted and unclear sound. However, with Spectral Phase Optimization, these phase shifts are detected and corrected automatically, ensuring that your audio is aligned perfectly and sounds its best.
The updated version of the software has an enhanced core algorithm, the option to turn group time alignment on or off, improved optimization of spectral phase on a track-based level, the addition of four preset locations for easy comparison of various settings, and the capability to export/import alignment settings to make workflow smoother across multiple projects.
The latest version of Auto-Align, known as Auto-Align 2.1, has received positive feedback from experts in the field. Greg Wurth, a renowned producer, mixer, and engineer who has won multiple platinum awards, describes the impact of Auto-Align 2 on drums, bass, or guitar as truly remarkable. Similarly, Darrell Thorp, a highly accomplished engineer who has won the prestigious GRAMMY award ten times, includes Auto-Align 2 in his drum plug-in chain for every new mix or song he begins working on.
Auto-Align 2.1 can now be purchased for $199. It can be used on macOS 10.9 or later with a 64-bit Intel CPU or Apple Silicon, and on Windows with a 64-bit Intel or AMD CPU and Windows 10 or later. The plug-in formats available are AAX, Audio Unit, VST3, and ARA2.
