Your current location is displayed as "You are here". This is the Auto-Align 2.1 software
Auto-Align 2.1, a cutting-edge audio alignment tool developed by Sound Radix, promises to enhance the audio production process by offering improved precision and productivity.
Auto-Align 2.1 enhances the audio quality by reducing comb-filtering and minimizing the blurring of sound caused by transients. It also improves the phase alignment of each microphone to ensure the captured sound is clear and well-defined. The latest version of the software further improves the alignment process by speeding it up, introducing a new module for spectral phase correction, refining the algorithm, and creating a more user-friendly interface.
Improved Efficiency
The latest edition of Auto-Align aims to enhance your workflow efficiency. By simply clicking a button, Auto-Align 2.1 is capable of aligning all your microphones in one go. This innovative function not only saves you precious time, but also guarantees precise synchronization and phase alignment of your audio, leading to enhanced clarity, dimension, and stereo image.
The Spectral Phase Optimization feature in Auto-Align 2.1 is designed to fix phase shifts that may occur within certain frequency ranges. These phase shifts can cause the audio signal to sound less coherent and less full. When filters are used during recording, different frequency bands may experience different phase shifts, resulting in a distorted and unclear sound. With Spectral Phase Optimization, these phase shifts are automatically identified and corrected, ensuring that your audio is perfectly aligned and sounds its best.
The updated version of the software also comes with enhancements to its core algorithm, the option to turn on or off group time alignment, the ability to optimize spectral phase on a track basis, four preset locations for conveniently comparing different settings, and the feature to export/import alignment settings, which helps to streamline the workflow across multiple projects.
The latest version of Auto-Align, known as Auto-Align 2.1, has received positive feedback from experts in the field. Greg Wurth, a highly accomplished producer, mixer, and engineer with numerous multi-platinum awards, expresses astonishment at the remarkable results achieved by Auto-Align 2 on drums, bass, and guitar. Similarly, Darrell Thorp, a distinguished engineer who has won the prestigious GRAMMY award ten times, includes Auto-Align 2 as an essential component in his drum plug-in chain, which he incorporates into every new mix or song he begins working on.
You can now purchase Auto-Align 2.1 for $199. It works with macOS 10.9 or newer and requires a 64-bit Intel CPU or Apple Silicon. For Windows, it is compatible with a 64-bit Intel or AMD CPU and Windows 10 or newer. The plug-in formats available for Auto-Align 2.1 include AAX, Audio Unit, VST3, and ARA2.
