Your current location is here. The software version is Auto-Align 2.1 developed by Sound Radix
Sound Radix has recently released Auto-Align 2.1, a sophisticated audio alignment tool that promises to enhance and streamline the audio production process.
Auto-Align 2.1 enhances audio quality by removing comb-filtering, reducing the blurring of transients, and optimizing the phase of each microphone to accurately reproduce the complete and distinct sound captured by the microphones. The latest version goes even further by improving the alignment process, introducing a new module to correct spectral phase issues, refining the algorithm, and providing a user-friendly interface for ease of use.
Enhanced Efficiency
The latest edition of Auto-Align aims to enhance the efficiency of your work process. By simply clicking a button, Auto-Align 2.1 is capable of aligning all your microphones in one go. This innovative functionality saves you precious time and guarantees that your audio is impeccably synchronized in terms of timing and phase, leading to better clarity, dimension, and stereo representation.
The Spectral Phase Optimization feature in Auto-Align 2.1 addresses the issue of phase shifts that can happen within certain frequency ranges. These phase shifts can affect the clarity and richness of the audio signal. When filters are used during recording, different frequency bands may encounter different phase shifts, resulting in a distorted and unclear sound. The Spectral Phase Optimization feature detects and fixes these phase shifts automatically, ensuring that your audio is aligned perfectly and sounds its best.
The updated version of the software has enhanced its core algorithm, allowing for better performance. It now offers the option to enable or disable group time alignment, as well as track-based spectral phase optimization. Additionally, it has four preset locations that can be used to conveniently compare different settings. Furthermore, it allows users to export/import alignment settings, making it easier to streamline their
Auto-Align 2.1 has received positive feedback from experts in the industry. Greg Wurth, a renowned producer, mixer, and engineer, expresses amazement at how Auto-Align 2 enhances drums, bass, and guitar. Similarly, Darrell Thorp, a 10-time GRAMMY-winning engineer, includes Auto-Align 2 in his drum plug-in chain for every new mix or song he begins.
The latest version of Auto-Align, version 2.1, can now be purchased for $199. It can be used on macOS 10.9 or newer, as long as you have a 64-bit Intel CPU or Apple Silicon. For Windows users, a 64-bit Intel or AMD CPU and Windows 10 or newer are required. The plug-in formats available for Auto-Align 2.1 are AAX, Audio Unit, VST3, and ARA2.
