This is your current location. Auto-Align 2.1 is a software developed by Sound Radix.
Sound Radix has recently released Auto-Align 2.1, a cutting-edge audio alignment tool that aims to enhance and streamline the audio production process by offering improved precision and efficiency.
Auto-Align 2.1 enhances the sound quality captured by microphones by eliminating comb-filtering, reducing the blurring of transients, and optimizing the phase of each microphone in terms of its spectral characteristics. This latest version also improves the alignment process by introducing a faster workflow, a new module for spectral phase correction, a refined algorithm, and a more user-friendly interface.
The latest Auto-Align version aims to make your workflow more efficient. With a simple click, Auto-Align 2.1 can align all your microphones in one go. This innovative feature saves you time and guarantees precise time and phase alignment of your audio, leading to better clarity, size, and stereo image.
The Spectral Phase Optimization feature in Auto-Align 2.1 addresses phase shifts that can happen within certain frequency ranges, resulting in an improved and more harmonious audio signal. During recording, when filters are used, different frequency bands may encounter different phase shifts, which can cause a distorted and unclear sound. Spectral Phase Optimization detects and rectifies these phase shifts automatically, ensuring that your audio is accurately aligned and sounds its best.
The updated version of the software includes enhancements to its core algorithm, the option to enable or disable group time alignment, improvements to track-based spectral phase optimization, four preset locations for convenient comparison of different settings, and the capability to export and import alignment settings to improve efficiency when working on multiple projects.
The Auto-Align 2.1 software has received positive reviews from experts in the industry. Greg Wurth, a highly accomplished producer, mixer, and engineer, stated that the results achieved by Auto-Align 2 on drums, bass, or guitar are truly remarkable. Similarly, Darrell Thorp, a 10-time GRAMMY-winning engineer, includes Auto-Align 2 in his drum plug-in setup for every new mix or song he works on.
You can purchase Auto-Align 2.1 for $199. It works on macOS 10.9 or above, and requires a 64-bit Intel CPU or Apple Silicon. For Windows, it is compatible with a 64-bit Intel or AMD CPU and Windows 10 or above. You can use the plug-in in formats such as AAX, Audio Unit, VST3, and ARA2.
