Get 80% OFF KarmaFX Synth Modular 2: A Deep Dive into the Flexible World of Virtual Modular Synthesis

  • by

Universal Audio is currently offering a massive discount of 95% on their Electronic Music Bundle. Additionally, for a limited time, Audio Plugin Deals is providing an 80% discount on the virtual instrument Synth Modular 2 by KarmaFX.

Modular synthesis offers a great deal of freedom and flexibility. Various software platforms such as VCV Rack 2, Reaktor, and Cherry Audio's Voltage Modular are capable of emulating the signal flow of a Eurorack setup.

When it comes to Reaktor, you have the option to directly engage in visually programming digital signal processing (DSP). On the other hand, KarmaFX's Synth Modular 2 follows a similar approach but has its own unique design philosophy.

From now until February 5th, you have the opportunity to get the KarmaFX Synth Modular 2 at a discounted price of 80% off through Audio Plugin Deals. This is a great chance for you to enhance your virtual modular synth

I really love how the workflow of VCV Rack is designed and I often use it on both Mac and Windows operating systems. But I find KarmaFX's approach to modular synthesis quite fascinating.

The presets have an impressive sound, although they are mostly focused on trance music and its related subgenres.

If you are seeking for those deep and resonant low-frequency notes created by plucking a bass guitar, harsh and intense synthesizer leads with a distinctive gating effect, and rich and atmospheric pads commonly found in cinematic music, this device

The Synth Modular 2 can be a bit challenging to understand its signal flow at first. However, once you become familiar with creating sounds from scratch using its modular components, there are endless possibilities and no limits to what you can achieve.

I have a strong liking for the possibilities offered by sequencer modules. Unlike being limited to the analog modeled knobs of a Serge or a typical sequencer, these modules provide a more visually immersive experience.

The user interface is easily understandable and has a clean layout. It adjusts smoothly to fit different screen sizes, which is advantageous for those using higher resolutions. I personally tried out Synth Modular 2 on a 4K monitor and was satisfied with its performance and adaptability.

It would be great if the window could be resized without any restrictions, but that complaint can be discussed at another time. However, considering the price of $39.99, I believe it is a worthwhile investment.

Synth Modular 2 works great on computers running Windows. However, when I tested the trial version on my M1 Mac, I faced problems as it automatically switched to Rosetta.

However, there is a lot of potential to discover here. You will have the opportunity to use both a synthesizer and effects plugin, allowing you to create unique and mind-bending combinations if you are dedicated enough to invest the necessary time. It is advisable to take advantage of this offer promptly, as it will not be available for much longer.

Take a look at this offer: Synth Modular 2 is currently on sale at a discounted price of 80% off until February 5th, now priced at $39

An extremely captivating plugin

However, the identical deal was available on Pluginomat during the previous month.

I am curious if Karma FX has set the price too high considering the numerous sales they are currently offering.

I share the same opinion as Humanoid. In my view, the price set for it is too high since it is often available at a discounted price of $40

I want to caution anyone who plans on buying this product that it only includes either the MacOS or Windows version, but not both. So, if you purchase it for Mac but later decide to switch and use it on Windows, you won't be able to do so. This product is limited to one operating system license, which I find quite impractical considering I work with multiple platforms.

I made the purchase two years ago. The audio quality and versatility are satisfactory, although not exceptionally impressive. The amount of processing power required is moderate, which is not unfavorable considering that modular synthesizers generally demand a lot. It would be great to have some different visual options for it. The user-friendliness is somewhat cumbersome. I would describe it as decent for a modular synthesizer, but overall, it is rather average in my personal view.
