Take advantage of a massive discount of 95% on Universal Audio's Electronic Music Bundle. Additionally, for a limited time, you can save 80% on KarmaFX Synth Modular 2. Audio Plugin Deals is currently providing this offer on the virtual instrument by KarmaFX.
The freedom and flexibility of modular synthesis can't be ignored. Tools like VCV Rack 2, Reaktor, and Cherry Audio's Voltage Modular have the ability to mimic the signal flow of a Eurorack setup.
When it comes to Reaktor, you have the option to directly engage in visually programming DSP. On the other hand, KarmaFX's Synth Modular 2 adopts a similar approach but has its own unique design philosophy.
If you're looking to enhance your collection of virtual modular synthesizers, you can get the KarmaFX Synth Modular 2 at a discounted price of 80% off from Audio Plugin Deals until February 5th.
I really love working with the VCV Rack system and I use it often on both Mac and Windows. However, I find KarmaFX's approach to modular synthesis very interesting.
The preset sounds are impressive, although they are mainly focused on trance music and its related subgenres.
If you are searching for deep bass notes played with precision, harsh and intense lead sounds with a distinct gating effect, and rich and powerful pads that create a cinematic atmosphere, this feature is capable of producing them effortlessly.
The Synth Modular 2 can be a bit challenging to understand how the signals flow within it. However, once you have mastered programming a sound from the ground up using its modular components, there are endless possibilities and no limits to what you can achieve.
I have a great affinity for the possibilities that sequencer modules offer. Unlike the limited analog modeled knobs found in a Serge or standard sequencer, these modules provide a more visually immersive experience.
The design of the interface is user-friendly and comprehensible. It adapts effectively to the size of your screen, which is advantageous if you have a higher resolution display. I personally tried out Synth Modular 2 on a 4K monitor and was satisfied with its smooth performance.
It would be great if you had the option to freely adjust the size of the window, but that's a complaint that can be discussed later. However, considering the price of $39.99, I believe it's a worthwhile purchase.
Synth Modular 2 functions smoothly on computers operating on Windows. Nevertheless, while experimenting with the trial version on my M1 Mac, I experienced problems as it automatically switched to Rosetta.
However, there are many things to discover in this offer. With access to both a synthesizer and effects plugin, you can experiment with unique combinations if you're willing to invest the time. Ensure you take advantage of this opportunity soon, as the sale won't be available for long.
Take a look at this offer: Synth Modular 2 is currently on sale for 80% off until February 5th, priced at $39.99.

However, the identical offer was available on Pluginomat during the previous month.
I am curious if Karma FX has set their prices too high, considering the number of sales they are offering.

I share the same opinion as Humanoid. In my view, the price of the product is set too high, especially considering the fact that it is often available for
I want to inform everyone who is considering purchasing this product that you will only receive either the MacOS or the Windows version, not both. If you initially purchase it for Mac but later decide to deactivate it and use it on Windows, you will not be able to do so. This product can only be used with a single operating system, which I find to be quite impractical since I work on multiple platforms.
I made the purchase two years back. The sound quality and flexibility are satisfactory, although it didn't impress me greatly. The CPU usage is moderate, considering that modular synths generally have high usage. This is not a negative aspect. It would be great to have some different skins available for it. The user interface is a bit cumbersome. I would describe it as decent for a modular synth, but overall it is quite average in my opinion.
