For a limited time, you can save 95% on the Electronic Music Bundle from Universal Audio. Additionally, there is an 80% discount available for the Synth Modular 2 virtual instrument created by KarmaFX. Audio Plugin Deals is the platform offering these discounted prices.
Modular synthesis offers a sense of liberation and adaptability. Software programs such as VCV Rack 2, Reaktor, and Cherry Audio's Voltage Modular enable the emulation of the signal flow found in a Eurorack setup.
When it comes to Reaktor, you have the option to immediately start visually programming DSP. On the other hand, KarmaFX's Synth Modular 2 follows a similar approach but has its own unique design philosophy.
If you're looking to enhance your collection of virtual modular synths, you can grab the KarmaFX Synth Modular 2 at a discounted price of 80% off from Audio Plugin Deals until February 5th.
I have a great fondness for the way VCV Rack functions and I use it often on both Mac and Windows operating systems. However, I find KarmaFX's approach to modular synthesis to be quite fascinating.
The default settings on this sound system produce a pleasing sound, although they are primarily designed for trance music and its related genres.
If you are in search of deep and intense bass sounds, aggressive and sharp lead sounds, and atmospheric and majestic pad sounds, it can effortlessly deliver those.
The learning process of understanding the signal flow of Synth Modular 2 can be a bit challenging. However, once you have mastered how to program a sound from scratch using its modular components, there are endless possibilities and no limitations.
I have a strong preference for the possibilities that the sequencer modules offer. Rather than being limited to the analog modeled knobs found on a Serge or typical sequencer, these modules provide a more visually appealing experience.
The user interface is straightforward and easily understandable. It adjusts appropriately to fit your screen, which is advantageous if you have a higher resolution display. I personally tried using Synth Modular 2 on a 4K monitor and was impressed with its smooth performance.
It would be great if the window could be resized without any restrictions, but that complaint can be addressed another time. However, considering the price of $39.99, I believe it is a worthwhile investment.
Synth Modular 2 functions smoothly on Windows computers. Nonetheless, while experimenting with the trial version on my M1 Mac, I faced problems as it automatically switched to Rosetta.
However, there are many things to discover in this offer. By having access to both a synthesizer and an effects plugin, you have the opportunity to create unique combinations if you are willing to invest time and effort. It is recommended that you take advantage of this sale promptly, as it will not be available for much longer.
Take a look at this offer: Synth Modular 2 is currently on sale for 80% off until February 5th, priced at $39.99.

I am curious if Karma FX has set their prices too high, considering the frequency of their sales.

I would like to inform everyone who plans to purchase this product that you will only receive either a MacOS or a Windows version, but not both. If you initially purchase it for Mac and later decide to deactivate it and use it on Windows, unfortunately, you won't be able to do so. The license only covers one operating system, which in my opinion is quite impractical since I regularly work on different platforms.
I made the purchase two years ago. The sound quality and versatility are satisfactory, although it didn't exceed my expectations. The CPU usage is moderate, which is expected for modular synths. It would be great to have some different skins for it. The user interface could be improved. I would say it is a decent modular synth, but overall it's just average in my opinion.
