Get 80% OFF KarmaFX Synth Modular 2: A Versatile and Visual Approach to Modular Synthesis

  • by

Universal Audio's Electronic Music Bundle is currently available at a whopping 95% discount. Additionally, for a limited time, you can get a remarkable 80% off on KarmaFX Synth Modular 2. Audio Plugin Deals is presenting this exclusive offer for the Synth Modular 2 virtual instrument developed by KarmaFX.

Modular synthesis offers a great deal of freedom and flexibility. Software platforms such as VCV Rack 2, Reaktor, and Cherry Audio's Voltage Modular have the capability to replicate the signal flow of a Eurorack setup.

When it comes to Reaktor, you have the option to directly engage in visually programming DSP. On the other hand, KarmaFX's Synth Modular 2 follows a similar approach but has its unique design philosophy.

Until February 5th, you have the opportunity to get a whopping 80% discount on the KarmaFX Synth Modular 2 at Audio Plugin Deals. This is a fantastic chance for you to enhance your virtual modular synth collection.

I am a big fan of the VCV Rack workflow and I often use it on both Mac and Windows operating systems. However, I find KarmaFX's approach to modular synthesis to be very interesting.

The preset sounds are impressive, although they are mostly focused on trance music and its related subgenres.

If you are searching for strong and precise bass plucks, harsh gated leads, and deep cinematic pads, it effortlessly manages to produce those sounds.

The learning process of understanding the signal flow in Synth Modular 2 can be a bit challenging. However, once you have mastered programming a sound from the ground up using its modular components, the possibilities become endless.

I have a strong appreciation for the possibilities that the sequencer modules offer. Instead of being limited to the analog modeled knobs of a Serge or a standard sequencer, the visual aspect of these modules is much more diverse and engaging.

The user interface is easily understandable and legible. It adapts effectively to the size of your screen, which is advantageous if you have a higher resolution. I personally evaluated Synth Modular 2 on a 4K monitor and was satisfied with its smooth performance in this regard.

I hope that the ability to resize the window was available without any restrictions, but that issue can be discussed later. Nonetheless, considering the price of $39.99, I believe it is a worthwhile investment.

Synth Modular 2 functions smoothly on Windows computers. However, when experimenting with the trial version on my M1 Mac, I faced problems as it automatically switched to Rosetta.

However, there is a lot of content available for exploration. With access to both a synthesizer and effects plugin, you have the opportunity to create unique and extraordinary combinations if you are willing to invest the necessary time. It is advisable to acquire this product promptly as the sale will not be available for an extended period of time.

Take a look at this offer: Synth Modular 2 is currently on sale at an 80% discount until February 5th, priced at $39.99.

However, the identical offer was available on Pluginomat during the previous month.

I am curious if Karma FX has set the price too high because they are offering numerous sales.

I share the same opinion as Humanoid. In my view, the price set for it is too steep considering the fact that it is often available for purchase at a

I would like to caution anyone who plans to purchase this product, as it is important to note that you will only receive either the MacOS or the Windows version, not both. In case you initially buy it for Mac but later decide to deactivate it and use it on Windows, unfortunately, that is not possible. This software only allows for a single operating system license. Personally, I find this decision quite imprudent since I frequently work on different platforms.

I made the purchase two years ago. The audio quality and versatility are satisfactory, although not exceptionally impressive. The CPU usage is moderate, which is expected for modular synthesizers. It would be great to have some different visual designs for it. The usability is a bit cumbersome. I would consider it decent for a modular synth, but overall it is just average in my perspective.
