Universal Audio's Electronic Music Bundle is currently available at a discounted price of 95% off. For a limited time, you can also get an 80% discount on KarmaFX Synth Modular 2, a virtual instrument offered by Audio Plugin Deals.
Modular synthesis offers a great deal of freedom and flexibility. Software platforms such as VCV Rack 2, Reaktor, and Cherry Audio's Voltage Modular are capable of simulating the signal flow found in a Eurorack setup.
When it comes to Reaktor, you have the option to directly engage in visually programming digital signal processing (DSP). On the other hand, KarmaFX's Synth Modular 2 also adopts a similar approach but has its own unique design philosophy.
From now until February 5th, Audio Plugin Deals is offering a massive 80% discount on the KarmaFX Synth Modular 2, a fantastic opportunity for those looking to enhance their virtual modular synth collection.
I have a deep appreciation for the way VCV Rack functions and I often utilize it on both Mac and Windows operating systems. However, I find KarmaFX's approach to modular synthesis to be highly fascinating.
The preset sounds are impressive, although they are mostly designed for trance music and its related subgenres.
If you are searching for deep and resonant bass plucks, harsh gated leads, and rich cinematic pads, it is highly capable of producing those sounds.
The Synth Modular 2 may be a bit difficult to grasp at first when it comes to understanding how its signals flow. However, once you become familiar with programming a sound from the ground up using its modular components, the possibilities become endless.
I am especially impressed by the possibilities that the sequencer modules offer. Instead of being limited to the traditional analog modeled knobs found on a Serge or typical sequencer, these modules provide a more visually appealing experience.
The user interface of Synth Modular 2 is intuitive and straightforward, allowing for easy comprehension. It adapts smoothly to different screen sizes, making it particularly useful for users with higher resolutions. I personally tried using Synth Modular 2 on a 4K monitor and was impressed by its seamless performance and responsiveness.
I really hope that the window could be resized without any restrictions, but that's a complaint that can be addressed later on. However, considering the price of $39.99, I believe it's a good value for money and worth buying.
Synth Modular 2 operates smoothly on computers running Windows. Nevertheless, while experimenting with the trial version on my M1 Mac, I experienced problems as it automatically switched to Rosetta.
However, there are many things to discover in this offer. With access to both a synthesizer and effects plugin, you have the opportunity to create unique and mind-blowing combinations if you are willing to invest time and effort. It is recommended that you take advantage of this sale promptly, as it will not be available for long.
Take a look at this offer: Synth Modular 2 is currently on sale for 80% off until February 5th, priced at $39.99.

An exceptionally intriguing plugin
However, the identical offer was available on Pluginomat during the previous month.
I am curious if Karma FX may have set their prices too high, considering the number of sales they are currently offering.

I share the same opinion as Humanoid. In my view, they have set the price too high considering that it is often available for purchase at $40 during sales
I would like to caution anyone who is planning to purchase this product, as it is important to note that when you buy it, you will only receive either the MacOS version or the Windows version. It is not possible to have both. If you initially buy it for Mac but later decide to deactivate it and use it on Windows, unfortunately, you won't be able to do so. This product only provides a license for a single operating system. In my opinion, this limitation is quite impractical, especially for individuals like me who
I made the purchase two years ago. The audio quality and versatility are satisfactory, although they didn't amaze me. The CPU usage is moderate, which is expected for modular synths. It would be great to have some different designs for it. The user interface is a bit cumbersome. I would consider it to be decent for a modular synth, but overall it's rather average in my view.
