Unlock Your Modular Synthesis Potential with KarmaFX Synth Modular 2 – Now 80% Off!

  • by

You can save 95% on the Electronic Music Bundle by Universal Audio. For a limited period, there is an 80% discount available on KarmaFX Synth Modular 2. The Synth Modular 2 virtual instrument by KarmaFX is being offered at a reduced price of 80% by Audio Plugin Deals.

Modular synthesis offers a great deal of freedom and flexibility. Software platforms such as VCV Rack 2, Reaktor, and Cherry Audio's Voltage Modular can replicate the signal flow found in a Eurorack setup.

With Reaktor, you have the option to immediately start visually programming DSP (Digital Signal Processing). On the other hand, KarmaFX's Synth Modular 2 also allows for visual programming but has its own unique design philosophy.

If you're looking to enhance your collection of virtual modular synths, you can grab the KarmaFX Synth Modular 2 at a discounted price of 80% off on Audio Plugin Deals until February 5th.

I have a great admiration for the VCV Rack's way of working and I often use it on both Mac and Windows operating systems. However, I find KarmaFX's approach to modular synthesis quite fascinating.

The preset sounds are impressive, although they are primarily focused on trance music and its related subgenres.

If you're seeking deep and powerful bass sounds, aggressive and sharp lead tones, and rich and atmospheric pads, it can easily produce those.

The Synth Modular 2 can be a bit challenging to understand how its signal flow works. However, once you become familiar with programming a sound from the ground up using its modular components, you will have endless possibilities and creative freedom.

I have a strong liking for the possibilities offered by sequencer modules. Unlike being limited to the analog modeled knobs commonly found on a Serge or a regular sequencer, these modules provide a more visually immersive experience.

The user interface is easily understandable and visually appealing. It adjusts smoothly to fit different screen sizes, making it particularly advantageous for users with higher resolutions. I personally evaluated the performance of Synth Modular 2 on a 4K monitor and found it to be highly impressive and well-maintained.

I really hope that the window could be resized without any restrictions, but I'll save that complaint for another occasion. However, considering the price of $39.99, I believe it is a worthwhile investment.

Synth Modular 2 performs excellently on computers running Windows operating system. Nevertheless, while experimenting with the trial version on my M1 Mac, I faced problems as it automatically switched to Rosetta mode.

However, there are many things to discover and try out in this offer. With access to both a synthesizer and effects plugin, you have the opportunity to create unique and mind-blowing combinations if you are willing to invest the necessary time. It is recommended to take advantage of this sale as it will not be available for long.

Take a look at this offer: Synth Modular 2 is currently on sale for 80% off until February 5th, priced at $39.99.

An extremely captivating plugin.

However, Pluginomat had the same offer available last month.

I'm curious if Karma FX has set their prices too high considering the number of sales they are currently offering.

I share the same opinion as Humanoid. In my perspective, the price is set too high considering the fact that it often goes on sale for $40.

I would like to give a heads up to anyone who plans on buying this product, as you will only receive either a MacOS or a Windows version, not both. If you originally purchase it for Mac but later decide to deactivate it and use it on Windows, unfortunately, that won't be possible. The license for this product is only valid for one operating system. I personally find this decision quite foolish, especially since I frequently work on multiple platforms.

I made the purchase two years ago. The sound quality and versatility are satisfactory, although they didn't exceed my expectations. The CPU usage is moderate, which is understandable for modular synths. It would be great to have different skins as options. The usability is a bit cumbersome. I would consider it decent for a modular synth, but overall it is fairly average in my opinion.
