Take advantage of a 95% discount on Universal Audio's Electronic Music Bundle. For a limited time, you can get 80% off on KarmaFX Synth Modular 2 through Audio Plugin Deals. This offer provides a significant reduction on the virtual instrument created by KarmaFX.
Modular synthesis offers a sense of liberation and adaptability. Software platforms such as VCV Rack 2, Reaktor, and Cherry Audio's Voltage Modular have the ability to replicate the signal flow of a Eurorack setup.
With Reaktor, you have the ability to directly engage in visually programming digital signal processing (DSP). However, KarmaFX's Synth Modular 2 also adopts a similar approach but has its own unique design philosophy.
From now until February 5th, you can get a huge discount of 80% off on the KarmaFX Synth Modular 2 at Audio Plugin Deals. This is a great opportunity to enhance your virtual modular synth collection.
I have a great appreciation for the VCV Rack workflow and I often utilize it on both Mac and Windows operating systems. However, I find KarmaFX's approach to modular synthesis to be quite fascinating.
The pre-set sounds are impressive, although they are primarily designed for trance music and its related subgenres.
If you are searching for precise and strong low-frequency bass sounds, harsh and controlled lead sounds, and deep and resonant cinematic pads, it is very capable of producing those.
The process of understanding the signal flow in Synth Modular 2 may take some time to grasp. However, once you have mastered the skill of creating a sound from scratch using its modular components, there are endless possibilities and potential.
I am especially enthusiastic about the possibilities offered by the sequencer modules. Instead of being limited to the traditional analog knobs found in a Serge or standard sequencer, these modules offer a visually immersive experience.
The user interface is easily understandable and legible. It adjusts smoothly to fit the size of your screen, which is advantageous if you have a high-resolution display. I personally tried out Synth Modular 2 on a 4K monitor and I was satisfied with its impressive performance.
I hope that the ability to resize the window was available without any restrictions, but that concern can be addressed at a later time. Nevertheless, considering the price of $39.99, I believe it is a worthwhile purchase.
The Synth Modular 2 software performs exceptionally well on Windows computers. However, I faced some problems when I tried using the trial version on my M1 Mac, as it automatically switched to Rosetta.
However, there are many things to discover in this product. It offers both a synthesizer and effects plugin, allowing you to create unique and impressive combinations if you are willing to invest time in it. Ensure that you get it soon, as this sale will not be available for long.
Take a look at this offer: Synth Modular 2 is currently discounted by 80% until February 5th, priced at $39.99.

I am curious if Karma FX has set their prices too high, considering the frequency of their sales.

I share the same opinion as Humanoid. I think the price set for it is too high, especially considering the fact that it is often available for purchase at a
I would like to caution anyone who plans to purchase this product that it only includes either a MacOS or a Windows version, but not both. If you buy the product for Mac and later decide to deactivate it and switch to using it on Windows, unfortunately, you won't be able to do so. The license only permits usage on a single operating system. Personally, I find this decision quite impractical since I work with different platforms.
I made the purchase two years ago. The sound quality and versatility are satisfactory, although it didn't leave a strong impression on me. The CPU usage is moderate, which is expected for modular synths. It would be great to have different visual designs for it. The user interface is a bit cumbersome. I would consider it to be a decent option for a modular synth, but overall it is fairly average in my opinion.
