Get 80% OFF KarmaFX Synth Modular 2 and Explore the Freedom of Virtual Modular Synthesis

  • by

Universal Audio's Electronic Music Bundle is currently available at a discounted rate of 95% off. For a limited time, you can get an 80% discount on the KarmaFX Synth Modular 2 virtual instrument through Audio Plugin Deals.

Modular synthesis offers a great deal of freedom and flexibility. Software platforms such as VCV Rack 2, Reaktor, and Cherry Audio's Voltage Modular are capable of emulating the signal flow of a Eurorack setup.

When it comes to Reaktor, you have the option to directly engage in visually programming DSP. On the other hand, KarmaFX's Synth Modular 2 follows a similar approach but has its own unique design philosophy.

If you're looking to enhance your virtual modular synth collection, you can get the KarmaFX Synth Modular 2 at a discounted price of 80% off from Audio Plugin Deals until February 5th.

I am a big fan of the VCV Rack's workflow and I use it often on both Mac and Windows. However, I find KarmaFX's approach to modular synthesis to be very interesting.

The preset sounds are impressive, although they mainly cater to trance music and its related subgenres.

If you are in search of deep bass plucks, harsh gated leads, and rich cinematic pads, it can easily handle those sounds.

The Synth Modular 2 may be challenging to understand its signal flow at first. However, once you are able to grasp the process of creating a sound from the ground up using its modular components, there are endless possibilities for creativity.

I have a strong liking for the possibilities that the sequencer modules offer. Instead of being limited to the traditional analog knobs found on a Serge or a regular sequencer, they provide a more visually engaging experience.

The user interface is easily understandable and visually appealing. It adjusts effectively to fit different screen sizes, which is advantageous especially for those using higher resolutions. I personally tried using Synth Modular 2 on a 4K monitor and was satisfied with its smooth performance and adaptability.

I hope you have the ability to adjust the size of the window without any restrictions, although I will address this concern another time. However, considering the price of $39.99, I believe it is a worthwhile purchase.

Synth Modular 2 operates smoothly on computers running Windows. Nevertheless, when I experimented with the trial version on my M1 Mac, I faced problems as it automatically switched to Rosetta.

However, there are many things to discover and try out in this software. It offers a synthesizer and effects plugin, allowing you to come up with unique and crazy combinations if you dedicate enough time to it. Ensure you take advantage of this opportunity soon, as the sale will not be available for long.

Take a look at this special offer: Synth Modular 2 is currently discounted by 80% until February 5th, making it available for only $39.99.

An incredibly captivating plugin

However, the identical opportunity was available on Pluginomat during the previous month.

I am curious if Karma FX has set their prices too high considering the frequency of their sales.

I share the same opinion as Humanoid. In my view, they have set the price too high, particularly considering that it is often available for purchase at a discounted

I would like to caution anyone who is planning to purchase this product that it only includes either a MacOS or a Windows version. You cannot have both. If you initially purchase it for Mac but later decide to deactivate it and use it on Windows, you will not be able to do so. This product is licensed for a single operating system only, which I find to be quite impractical as I often work on multiple platforms.

I made the purchase two years back. The sound quality and flexibility are satisfactory, although not exceptionally impressive. The CPU usage is moderate, which is understandable considering modular synths tend to have high power requirements. It would be great to have some different visual options for it. The usability could be improved as it feels a bit cumbersome. I would describe it as decent for a modular synth, but overall, it falls into the average category in my opinion.
