Take advantage of a 95% discount on the Electronic Music Bundle by Universal Audio. For a limited time, you can get 80% off on KarmaFX Synth Modular 2 at Audio Plugin Deals.

Modular synthesis offers a level of freedom and adaptability that deserves recognition. Software platforms such as VCV Rack 2, Reaktor, and Cherry Audio’s Voltage Modular are capable of emulating the signal flow found in a Eurorack setup.

For Reaktor, you have the option to directly start visually programming DSP. On the other hand, KarmaFX's Synth Modular 2 follows a similar approach but has its own unique design philosophy.

Until February 5th, you can get the KarmaFX Synth Modular 2 at a discounted price of 80% off from Audio Plugin Deals, making it a great opportunity to enhance your virtual modular synth collection.

I really love how the VCV Rack workflow functions and I often use it on both Mac and Windows operating systems. However, I find KarmaFX's approach to modular synthesis to be very fascinating.

The pre-programmed settings have an excellent sound, although they are mostly designed for trance music and its related subgenres.

If you are searching for deep and precise bass notes, harsh and controlled lead sounds, and rich and atmospheric cinematic pads, it can easily accommodate those requirements.

The Synth Modular 2 can be a bit challenging to understand its signal flow at first. However, once you have mastered the process of programming a sound from the ground up using its modular components, there are endless possibilities for creativity and innovation.

I have a strong liking for the possibilities that the sequencer modules offer. Unlike the limitations of analog modeled knobs found in a Serge or a regular sequencer, the visual experience is much more immersive and captivating.

The user interface is intuitive and straightforward. It adjusts smoothly to fit your screen, which is advantageous if you have a higher resolution display. I personally tried using Synth Modular 2 on a 4K monitor and was impressed by its excellent performance and adaptability.

I really hope that the window could be resized without any restrictions, but that complaint can be discussed on another occasion. However, considering the price of $39.99, I believe it is a worthwhile purchase.

Synth Modular 2 functions smoothly on Windows computers. Nevertheless, while experimenting with the trial version on my M1 Mac, I experienced problems as it automatically switched to Rosetta.

However, there are many things to discover in this product. It offers a synthesizer and effects plugin, allowing you to experiment with unique combinations if you're willing to invest the necessary time. It is recommended to purchase it soon as this sale will not be available for long.

Take a look at this offer: Synth Modular 2 is currently on sale for 80% off until February 5th, priced at $39.99.

However, the identical promotion was available on Pluginomat during the previous month.

I am curious if Karma FX has set their prices too high considering the frequent sales they are having.

I share the same opinion as Humanoid. In my view, the price of the product is set too high considering the fact that it is often available for sale at

I want to caution anyone who plans to purchase this product that you will only receive either a MacOS or a Windows version, not both. If you initially purchase it for Mac but later decide to deactivate it and switch to Windows, you won't be able to do so. The license only allows for use on a single operating system. Personally, I find this decision to be quite unwise, especially since I frequently work on multiple platforms.

I made the purchase two years ago. The sound quality and versatility are satisfactory, but it didn't impress me greatly. The CPU usage is moderate, which is expected for modular synths. It would be nice to have some different skins for it. The user experience is a bit cumbersome. I would consider it decent for a modular synth, but overall, it's fairly average in my opinion.
