Midi Maker is a music generator tool that operates using random elements to assist users in creating new music. Best of all, it is available for free, making the music creation process quicker and simpler.

When beginning a new musical composition, there are numerous approaches one can take. For instance, you may choose to start with the main melody, a sequence of harmonies, a particular rhythm, or any other element. To assist you in this process, Midi Maker is a valuable resource that enables you to effortlessly and swiftly generate original music. Best of all, it is available to

The way you begin something has a significant impact on how it will unfold. For instance, harmony and structure play a role in shaping the melody, just as rhythm can influence the phrasing, and the reverse is also true.

Certain musicians believe that there is one ultimate way to approach their craft, but ultimately, the best approach is whatever works for you. Personally, I have always avoided fixating on a specific approach and instead allowed things to unfold naturally. This includes not being too strict about sticking to a particular genre when working on personal projects.

The advantage is having greater freedom to be creative, but the disadvantage is that having too much freedom can often result in creative block (similar to when I spend excessive time browsing movies on Netflix instead of actually watching them) or decreased productivity compared to following a more organized approach.

There may be situations where we cannot have absolute freedom due to existing rules or guidelines. In such cases, a tool like Midi Maker can be extremely beneficial.

Midi Maker is a tool that creates fresh music by utilizing multiple synthesizers, drum machines, and chord patterns based on the preferences set by the user. The software enables users to choose the fundamental aspects of their song, such as genre, structure, tempo, and key, and then provides the option to adjust more intricate settings.

After acquiring the basic knowledge, you have the freedom to decide how many chords, melodies, and other elements you want to incorporate. If you decide to use multiple chords, you can categorize the harmonic development as Static, Sectional, or Progressive. Additionally, you have the option to modify the number of variations within each section.

After you have prepared yourself to create music, Midi Maker will guide you to the following page. On this page, you will be able to listen to a preview of your creation and make any necessary modifications to the melodies, basslines, and chords using polysynths. Additionally, you can adjust the drum machine and the patterns of the chords.

Every component has different options and settings that can be adjusted, like Envelopes, Density, Timing, and Velocities. You have the ability to make modifications in real-time and instantly listen to the updated results during playback.

Even though there are numerous settings available for customization, the generation process relies solely on randomness instead of AI and machine learning (within the context of the settings). The advantage of randomness is that it ensures you will always obtain something distinct and less ordinary.

Once you are satisfied with the outcome, you have the option to download the MIDI file and effortlessly integrate it into your DAW or software to continue enhancing it.

There are two versions of Midi Maker available. The Free version allows for one download per month and is limited to a 4/4 time signature. On the other hand, the Premium version costs £19.50 per month and offers unlimited downloads. It also allows for any time signature and includes the

By registering at this moment, you have the opportunity to receive a 50% discount on your initial three months. Any assistance that facilitates the initiation of a concept is highly beneficial, particularly for individuals who constantly require generating substantial content.

I thoroughly enjoyed using Midi Maker and was pleasantly surprised by its capabilities. It proved to be a unique and stimulating tool to jumpstart my creativity, and I anticipate that it will continue to grow and improve in the future.

My main worry is that prices are generally very high for all products, so it will be challenging for the Premium version to convince users to spend their money on it instead of other options. However, only time will show how successful it will be.

It is already too late to greet someone with a "Happy New Year" without receiving laughter, but as this is my initial post of the year 2024, I would like to extend my well wishes to everyone and express my joy in returning.

Take a look at this offer: Midi Maker is available in both a free version and a premium version which costs £19.50 per month.

I agree with the sentiment expressed here. Sometimes developers have a great idea and believe it is unique and invaluable, not realizing that larger companies might copy and incorporate it into their own products. This has happened multiple times in the past year. While I wish them the best of luck, they need to be more realistic. It's not as if they are putting in any additional effort after assembling these components.

Contrary to the negative individuals in the comments, I found the capabilities of the product quite impressive. If I frequently purchased MIDI packs, MidiMaker would be a preferable choice for me.

However, requesting $20 per month for a specialized product like this is a significant demand. Personally, I would rather create my own melodies and rhythms because using this product feels dishonest to me. Midimaker does not fit well with my usual way of working and it also does not align with my financial situation, making it difficult for me to justify subscribing to it. Additionally, I have a strong dislike for subscription models and I am certain that my opinion on this matter will never change.

I must confess that if the product had a one-time payment that was reasonably priced, I can imagine myself contemplating it during moments when I experience a creative block and require some inspiration. Additionally, it could be appealing to me when I feel bored and simply want to spend a couple of hours experimenting in my Digital Audio Workstation (DAW).

I really hope the developer takes into consideration the possibility of adjusting the pricing and incorporating a different subscription model, or at the very least, providing an alternative option. Regardless, I genuinely wish them success as they have created a commendable product.

I'm sorry

I believe that inspiration can be found in anything, and I don't judge where it comes from. Whether it's the sound of rain, exploring a new genre of music through a MIDI pack, or even a piece of generative code, it's all valid. It's like finding what makes your cat happy. Personally, I can't dismiss the value of constrained randomisation as a primary source of inspiration, as I have used tools like CodeFN42's RandARP or Transition many times. They have been incredibly helpful. Regarding the subscription model, I understand that some people may prefer it, but it's just not for me. I hope the developer finds their audience. Perhaps offering a middle-tier pricing option with full capabilities but limited usage (like one per day) could attract more users and allow them to truly assess if they need it. The competition is tough.

To clarify, Orb plugins, Captain plugins, Harvest, and various other tools perform this function. Examples of such tools include Atlas and XO. However, subscribing to these types of services can be unpleasant.

I believe I already mentioned this before, but it's possible that my comment didn't get posted. There are several software options available, like Atlas, Captain Epic, XO, Harvest, Phrasebox, and Orb Plugins, that offer similar functionalities without requiring a subscription. It's not a wise decision to opt for a subscription-based service when I can simply purchase a similar product at a similar price. It might seem interesting, but I won't invest my time in something that I can easily buy outright.

At times, it can be challenging to begin a new song, especially when lacking creative inspiration. Midi Maker appears to be a helpful tool that offers a vast array of creative possibilities. I plan on using it for future projects to assess its true capabilities. This article has ignited my motivation to create music using Midi Maker.

James, I'm interested to know how many projects you are embarking on at the moment?
