Unlock Your Creativity with Midi Maker: A Free Tool for Generating New Music

Save 95% on the Electronic Music Bundle by Universal Audio. Midi Maker is a music generator tool that uses randomness to create unique compositions. This free tool assists users in effortlessly and swiftly producing new music.

There are numerous methods for beginning a fresh piece of music, such as initiating with the tune, a harmonic sequence, a particular rhythm, and so on. In order to assist with this process, Midi Maker is a cost-free tool designed to aid in the quick and effortless creation of new musical compositions.

How you begin something can have a significant impact on how it unfolds. In some cases, it even has the power to determine the course of everything that follows. To illustrate this, consider how harmony and structure can shape the direction of a melody, or how rhythm can influence the way a phrase is delivered, and vice versa

Many musicians have their own beliefs about the best approach to music, but ultimately, what works for you is what matters. Personally, I have always tried to avoid limiting myself to a specific approach and instead allow things to unfold naturally. This even applies to my personal projects, where I don't restrict myself to a specific genre.

Having more creative freedom has its advantages, as it allows for greater expression and exploration. However, there is a drawback to having too much freedom, as it can often result in creative block or decreased productivity. This can be likened to spending excessive time browsing movies on Netflix instead of actually watching them, leading to a lack of progress or output. In

In certain situations, having absolute freedom is not always possible due to existing rules and regulations. However, a tool like Midi Maker can be extremely beneficial in assisting with adhering to these guidelines.

Midi Maker is a tool that creates new music by combining polysynths, drum machines, and chord patterns based on specific characteristics determined by the user. This generator enables users to choose the fundamental elements of their song, such as genre, structure, tempo, and key, while also providing options to adjust more complex settings.

After acquiring the basic knowledge, you have the freedom to decide the quantity of chords, melodies, and other musical elements you want to include. If you have more than one chord, you have the option to define the harmonic development as Static (unchanging), Sectional (divided into sections), or Progressive (evolving). Additionally, you have the flexibility to modify the number of

After you have prepared yourself to create music, Midi Maker will lead you to the following page. On this page, you will be able to listen to a preview of your creation and make any necessary changes to the melodies, bass, chords, drum machine, and chord patterns.

Every component provides different options and settings to adjust, such as Envelopes, Density, Timing, and Velocities. You have the ability to make modifications in real-time and listen to the updated outcomes in a matter of seconds.

Even though there are many options to choose from, the process of creating something is completely dependent on randomness rather than using artificial intelligence and machine learning. The advantage of randomness is that you will always end up with something that is one-of-a-kind and not ordinary.

Once you are satisfied with your outcomes, you have the option to download the MIDI file and insert it into your digital audio workstation (DAW) or software to continue refining it.

There are two versions of Midi Maker available: Free version, which allows for one download per month and is limited to 4/4 time signature, and Premium version, which costs £19.50 per month and provides unlimited downloads, the ability to choose any time signature, and includes the feature of

By enrolling at this moment, you have the opportunity to receive a discount of 50% on your initial three months. Any assistance that facilitates the initiation of a concept is highly beneficial, particularly for individuals who frequently require generating a substantial amount of content.

I thoroughly enjoyed using Midi Maker and was pleasantly surprised by its capabilities. It proved to be a unique and effective tool for sparking creativity, and I have high hopes for its future development and growth.

My main worry is that the Premium version will struggle to persuade users to spend their money on it instead of other options, considering that prices are generally high in all areas. However, only time will reveal the outcome.

For those using Windows who have not yet explored the newest free offering from Variety of Sound, epicCLOUDS, I strongly urge you to give it a try.

It is now past the appropriate time to wish someone a Happy New Year without receiving laughter, but as this is my initial post of the year 2024, I would like to extend my well wishes to everyone and express my joy in returning.

Take a look at the offer: Midi Maker has two versions available – a free version and a premium version that costs £19.50 per month.

I agree with the statement that some developers have a tendency to believe that their ideas are extremely valuable and that established companies won't copy and incorporate them into their own products. This has been observed happening multiple times in the past year. While I wish them good luck, they need to have a realistic perspective. It's not as if they are putting in any effort beyond compiling the components.

Contrary to the negative comments, I found the capabilities of MidiMaker quite impressive. If I were someone who frequently purchases MIDI packs, MidiMaker would be a more suitable option for me.

However, requesting $20 per month is a significant demand for a specialized product like this, and personally, I would rather create my own melodies and rhythms to avoid feeling like I am taking shortcuts. Midimaker does not align with my usual way of working and it is not financially feasible for me to subscribe to it. Additionally, I strongly dislike subscription models and I am confident that my sentiment towards them will never change.

I must confess that I would be inclined to consider purchasing the product if it had a one-time cost that was reasonably priced. This would be especially true when I find myself experiencing creative block and in need of inspiration, or when I simply want to spend a few hours experimenting in my digital audio workstation (DAW) for leisure.

I believe it would be beneficial for the developer to reconsider the pricing structure and consider incorporating a subscription model, or at the very least provide an alternative option. Regardless, I wish the developer success as they have created a valuable product.

I believe that inspiration can be found in anything, and I don't judge where it comes from. It could be the sound of rain, exploring a new genre through a MIDI pack, or even a piece of code that generates music. It doesn't matter what it is, as long as it brings you creative energy. Instead of saying "whatever floats your boat," I could say "whatever makes your cat meow." Anyway, I don't want to dismiss the value of any work that comes out of these sources of inspiration. Personally, I've found CodeFN42's RandARP and Transition tools incredibly helpful. They use constrained randomization to spark creativity, and they are fantastic tools. As for the subscription model, I understand that some people may prefer it, but I personally can't fully embrace it. 🙂 I hope the developer finds their audience. Maybe adding a third pricing option in the middle, with full capabilities but limited usage (such as one per day), could help attract more users and allow them to determine if they truly need it. The competition in this field is intense. :/

I believe I mentioned this before, but it's possible that my comment didn't get posted. There are various plugins and software options like Atlas, Captain Epic, XO, Harvest, Phrasebox, and Orb Plugins that offer similar features without requiring a subscription. It seems like a poor decision to go with a subscription model. While it may seem interesting, I personally won't invest my time in something that I can simply purchase for a similar price.

Beginning a new song can be challenging, particularly when you lack the creative inspiration. Midi Maker appears to be a useful tool that can effortlessly provide numerous creative options for your music production. I intend to utilize this software for upcoming projects and evaluate its true capabilities. This article has motivated me to pursue music-making using Midi Maker.

James, I'm wondering, how many projects are you planning to begin?
