Unlock Your Creativity with Midi Maker: A Powerful Tool for Generating Music Easily and Quickly

  • by

Save 95% on Universal Audio's Electronic Music Bundle, a comprehensive collection of music production tools. Midi Maker is a complimentary tool that utilizes randomness to generate music. It assists in the speedy and effortless creation of new music.

There are numerous methods to begin a new composition, such as commencing with the main tune, establishing a harmonic progression, or focusing on a particular rhythm. To assist with this process, Midi Maker is a useful and freely available tool designed to facilitate the swift and effortless creation of fresh musical pieces.

The way you begin something has a significant impact on how the rest of it will unfold. For instance, the arrangement and organization of a piece will influence the melody, while the rhythm can also dictate the way certain parts are played, and vice versa.

Certain musicians strongly believe in following a specific method, but ultimately, the most effective approach is the one that suits you. Personally, I have always refrained from adhering to a particular approach and instead allowed things to unfold naturally. This even extends to personal projects, where I am not too rigid about sticking to a specific genre.

Having more creative freedom has its advantages, as it allows for greater flexibility and expression. However, a potential drawback is that excessive freedom can sometimes result in creative block, similar to when one spends more time searching for movies on Netflix instead of actually watching them. It can also lead to decreased productivity when compared to following a more organized and structured approach.

In certain situations, having complete freedom may not be possible due to the existence of pre-established guidelines. In such cases, a tool like Midi Maker can prove to be immensely beneficial.

Midi Maker is a tool that creates music by using a combination of polysynths, drum machines, and chord patterns. The generated music is based on the characteristics defined by the user. With this tool, you can choose the main elements of your song such as the genre, structure, tempo, and key. Additionally, you have the option to adjust more advanced parameters to further customize your music.

After grasping the basics, you have the freedom to decide the number of chords, melodies, and other elements you wish to include in your composition. If you incorporate multiple chords, you have the option to define the harmonic development as Static, Sectional, or Progressive. Additionally, you can customize the number of variations within each section according to your preference.

After you have finished preparing, Midi Maker will guide you to the following page. On this page, you will be able to listen to a preview of your music creation and make changes to the melodies, bass, chords, drum machine, and chord patterns.

Every component provides different options and settings to adjust, like Envelopes, Density, Timing, and Velocities. You have the ability to modify these settings in real-time and instantly listen to the updated outcome during playback.

Although there are numerous settings available to manipulate, the process of generation primarily relies on randomness instead of AI and machine learning. The advantage of utilizing randomness is that it ensures the creation of distinct and non-generic outcomes.

Once you are satisfied with the outcomes, you have the option to download the MIDI file and import it into your digital audio workstation or software to continue working on it.

There are two versions of Midi Maker available. The first version is the Free version, which allows users to download one file per month and only supports the 4/4 time signature. The second version is the Premium version, which costs £19.50 per month. With the Premium version, users

By registering at this moment, you will be eligible for a 50% discount on your initial three months. Any assistance that aids in initiating a concept is highly beneficial, particularly for individuals who frequently need to generate a substantial amount of content.

I thoroughly enjoyed using Midi Maker and was pleasantly surprised by its capabilities. It proved to be an innovative tool for sparking creativity, and I believe it will continue to evolve and improve in the future.

My main worry is that the Premium version may struggle to persuade users to spend their money on it instead of other options, considering that prices are generally high for everything. However, only time will reveal how successful it will be in this competitive market.

For those using Windows and haven't explored the latest offering from Variety of Sound called epicCLOUDS, I highly recommend giving it a try.

It is already too late to greet someone with a "Happy New Year" without being made fun of, but since this is my initial post of the year 2024, I would like to extend my well wishes to everyone and express my happiness in being back.

Take a look at this offer: Midi Maker (a version that is free / a version that is premium and costs £19.50 each month).

I must agree with this statement. Oftentimes, developers believe that their ideas are incredibly valuable and unique, as if the more established companies wouldn't copy them and incorporate them into their own products. This trend has been observed numerous times in the past year. I wish them the best of luck, but it's important for them to have a realistic perspective. After all, it's not as if they're putting in any effort beyond simply compiling their ideas.

Contrary to the negative opinions expressed in the comments, I found myself quite impressed with its capabilities. As someone who frequently purchases MIDI packs, I believe MidiMaker would serve as a preferable substitute.

However, requesting $20 per month is a significant demand for a specialized product like this. Personally, I would rather create my own melodies and rhythms because using this product makes me feel like I'm taking shortcuts. Midimaker does not align well with my usual workflow and financial situation, so I don't see enough value in subscribing to justify the cost. Additionally, I have a strong dislike for subscription models and I am certain that my opinion on this matter will never change.

I must confess that if the product had a one-time payment that was reasonably priced, I could see myself thinking about using it during moments when I'm experiencing a creative block and require some inspiration. It could also be useful when I am feeling bored and want to experiment with my digital audio workstation for a few hours.

I think it would be great if the developer could reconsider the pricing and introduce a different payment method, like a subscription model. Alternatively, it would be wonderful if they could provide another option for customers. In any case, I truly hope the developer succeeds as they have a

I believe that inspiration can be found in anything, and I don't judge where it comes from. It could be the sound of rain, exploring a new genre of music through a MIDI pack, or even a piece of code that generates music. Whatever makes you feel inspired and motivated. Rather than saying "whatever floats your boat," I jokingly suggest saying "whatever meows your cat." But in all seriousness, I don't want to dismiss the work that goes into finding inspiration. Personally, I have found great value in using CodeFN42's RandARP or Transition as tools to generate random musical ideas. They have been incredibly helpful. Regarding the subscription model, I understand that some people may prefer it, but personally, I can't fully embrace it. I hope the developer of these tools finds their audience. Maybe offering a third pricing option, with full capabilities but limited usage per day, could attract more users and help them determine if they truly need it. The competition in this field is intense.

I'm referring to the fact that Orb plugins, Captain plugins, Harvest, and many other similar tools are able to perform this task. Examples include Atlas and XO. It's unfortunate that subscriptions are required for accessing these types of services.

I believed that I had already mentioned this, but it's possible that my previous comment did not get posted. There are various plugins available such as Atlas, Captain Epic, XO, Harvest, Phrasebox, and Orb Plugins that offer similar functionality without requiring a subscription. It seems like a poor decision to implement a subscription model for this. It might be interesting, but I personally won't invest my time in something that I can simply purchase for a similar price.

Beginning a new song can be challenging, particularly when lacking creative inspiration.
