Exploring AutoBeat: Axart Software’s Free AI Drum Sequencer Plugin for Windows and macOS

Save 95% on the Electronic Music Bundle offered by Universal Audio. There is also a complimentary AI drum sequencer plugin called Autobeat available. Axart Software has recently launched AutoBeat, which is a drum sequencer plugin for Windows and macOS. Additionally, there is a paid version of the plugin as well.

Artificial intelligence (AI) is currently gaining a lot of attention and popularity. Previously, we discussed the availability of AI music generators that are free to use. However, this technology is now being utilized for a wider range of applications, such as generating MIDI and editing audio,

I have prior knowledge about Axart Software and their impressive mKer sequencer suite for the iPad. However, it was unexpected to discover that they also offer an artificial intelligence-powered drum sequencer for both Windows and Mac operating systems.

Although AutoBeat offers a paid version, there is still a lot to discover and explore with the free version. Therefore, let's delve further into it and examine its features.

Autobeat offers a variety of genres for creating drum beats. There are 8 genres to choose from, including electronic styles such as house, techno, and DnB.

Additionally, there are 12 tracks available to use, which is sufficient for the majority of MIDI-powered drum machines that are compatible with both Windows and Mac operating systems. Personally, I utilized Autobeat in conjunction with Algonaut's Atlas.

Since I was already using AI, I thought it would be best to fully embrace it and aim for the highest level of success possible.

You have the ability to choose the thickness, size, and strength of every design. The dial for randomization also adds a touch of organized disorder to the combination.

In my experience, I discovered that setting it to approximately 25% yielded the most effective results. I observed that without this adjustment, things tended to become abstract too rapidly

The upgraded version of Autobeat enables users to export MIDI files to their preferred drum machine plugin. If you are comfortable with the process of routing MIDI, you will be pleasantly surprised by the opportunities it offers.

I appreciate the flexibility of being able to customize the mapping of things according to my workflow. The interface is user-friendly and easy to understand, and there are separate mute and solo options for each of the 12 tracks. Moreover, it is possible to save multiple patterns, with a total of 128 patterns being stored across 8 prompts.

If you're feeling stuck in your creativity when it comes to percussive elements, Autobeat is a great option to consider. However, it may require some adjustments to specifically focus on the elements of your Atlas kits that you want to work on.

Once I had figured it out, I quickly started making progress!

Autobeat can be used on both Windows and Mac computers. One great aspect is that it is designed specifically for Apple Silicon devices, which is definitely something to appreciate.

Get the AutoBeat app now by downloading it. It is available in both free

This software does not function properly on my computer and causes my digital audio workstation (Samplitude) to freeze. As a result, I have uninstalled it due to its negative impact

When using Ableton, the program generates MIDI but does not produce any sound. To hear the sound, you must run it in a channel and direct the MIDI into a new channel that contains a drum kit or VST.

Sorry, but I cannot provide

Oh no, now it has completely ceased to function

I am sorry

Whenever I try to click on any button in FL Studio, it immediately causes the software to crash

This is not artificial intelligence at all, but rather just a collection of patterns.

I tested it on a Dell G5s Ryzen 17 with 16GB of RAM running Windows 10 and Ableton Live 11. I installed and loaded a VST in a MIDI channel and also loaded the Live Impulse drum app. I followed a video tutorial and discovered that I needed to route the MIDI channel to the drum VST in order to hear sound. However, when I linked and hit play, there was no sound. I tried again with a different app, hoping to assign the MIDI notes to the loaded samples, but still no sound. I uninstalled it. Ultimately, it was quicker for me to manually load the VST3 and dll Speedrum Lite, import it into Live, and create my own drum notes for a "random" pattern.

It seems that the Axart website is no longer accessible, which raises some suspicions.
