Chris Young Cleared of Assault Charges: A Message to the ‘Trolls

After having all charges dropped following his arrest last Monday, Chris Young confidently responded to his critics.

The vocalist used social media to share a surveillance video and convey a message to those who believed he was at fault for touching a law enforcement officer.

On Friday, Nashville District Attorney Glenn Funk announced that he had completed his examination of the evidence, resulting in the dropping of charges. The Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission acknowledged their actions of pressuring Young to "create distance" when he attempted to interfere in their license check.

A video that Taste of Country acquired shows Young making an attempt to halt an agent without displaying much aggression. From one angle, it raises doubts about whether he even made physical contact with the man.

The singer of the song "Young Love & Saturday Nights" claims that he never made physical contact with anyone. Recently, he took to TikTok to share a video where he addresses this incident for the first time.

In response to those who criticize him for touching a police officer, the person asserts that they did not make physical contact with the officer.

After all the charges have been dismissed, Young is no longer legally affected by the incident. He will probably resume promoting his upcoming album titled "Young Love & Saturday Night," which is scheduled to be released on March 22nd.
